When Adrienne contacted me to capture her beautiful pregnancy for her I was flattered. First of all, I love maternity shots; pregnant women just have a certain glow… Secondly, Adrienne is a local photographer. So, when one of your own asks you to take pictures, it’s extra special! You can see her work here: Adrienne Orilla
Adrienne was so lovely, poised and confident. A woman truly comfortable in her own skin. She just radiates with joy and confidence to me. Here are just a few of my favorite shots. I know her husband is going to love them!
Christmas is such a special holiday for children. The joy and awe they experience in the world around them is especially heightened this time of year. We went out to look at Christmas lights tonight and my littlest was squealing with joy at all of the decorations and festivities. And my son, a big boy at almost 7 years old, just loves to decorate the house and has taken to creating little pieces of art with his markers and crayons and wrapping them up as gifts to give under the Christmas tree.
So although I feel totally overwhelmed with all of the preparation that occurs for this holiday, experiencing my children’s joy over it all makes it worth it.
She’s really figured it out this year, she’s even shaking those presents to see what’s inside…
Mr. “all boy”, I’m telling you…
A couple months ago Schools Financial Credit Union ran a competition for images to be featured in their 2009 wall calendar. I decided to enter a few of my photographs. Out of a total of over 1,500 entries, not one, but two of my images won! Today the calendar was officially released in all of the Schools Credit Union locations. They printed 17,500 calendars! Here are my winning entries:
This is my winning image featured for the month of January.
