David Girard Vineyards Wedding | KC and Keith

Working in the wedding industry, it’s always a pleasure to hear how couples meet and fall in love. From high school sweethearts, to blind dates, to shared interests… every story is unique and beautiful.  KC and Keith met at the very popular XOSO sport and social club playing Dodgeball.  I honestly think a lot of relationships have XOSO to thank!  Their cake was even topped with a small tribute to their first meeting: caricatures of the two clad in their XOSO Dodgeball jerseys, KC with a dodgeball tucked under her arm.  It was perfect (and hysterical).

It was a crisp fall day in November with the hint of winter in the air for KC and Keith’s wedding.  They said their vows with a lovely ceremony at the Holy Trinity church in El Dorado Hills and partied into the night with a David Girard Vineyards wedding reception.  And even when the party bus got stuck on the winding road on the way to the reception (don’t worry, all the guests made it safe and sound to the party), nothing could stop the glow coming from these two.  The romantic pics in the vineyard during the gold hour were a highlight and a wonderful opportunity for KC and Keith to have a moment to themselves.

It was an emotional day (in the best way possible) and our girl KC kept herself poised and together the whole time – well almost the whole time.  When it came time for her to dance with Keith as her husband, she was overcome with happy tears. It was a beautiful moment between the newlyweds.

Finding love was probably the furthest thing from their mind when they signed up to play dodgeball, but it’s not uncommon for people to be brought together by an activity they both enjoy. Passions join and strengthen a relationship, afterall. The ball was in their court that day, and I wish this sweet couple many wonderful years of love ahead!  Just remember you two, when things can crazy you have to move together with the five D’s of dodgeball: dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge!

Capturing the love between these two was such an incredible experience. Interested in learning more about Teresa K Photograpy? Let’s get in touch!
