Kate and Andy are a unique and special couple. They have huge hearts and care greatly for people. They are both very involved in the community and take a stand for what they believe in. This played a very important role in the way they met and continues to be a very important part of their relationship. It was love at first sight when these two met at a Black Lives Matter rally.
Their wedding, like their lives, was all about fusion, including everyone, and infusing and blending their cultures. It was important to them to include elements of the Jewish faith. They said their vows under a Chupah, had friends and family read their Seven Blessings, breaking a glass, and danced the Horah. I love all of these beautiful traditions. They are such joyful moments during such a happy occasion. It is always amazing to hear the cheers and laughter of those there to support the happy couple. They also included the Ketubah signing when they signed their wedding contract.
It was very apparent that they are well loved in their community. They had lots of love and support in their big day. Their outdoor ceremony at their grandparent’s estate was beautiful and the could not keep from smiling the whole day. They were bursting with excitement to commit themselves to one another in the presence of God and their loved ones. They danced the night away on the gorgeous patio space in their family homes backyard with the American River flowing in the background and under the beautiful strands of lights that draped above. Their day was filled with special moments that I was excited to capture for them as their Wedding Photographer. They had an amazing day and it is forever documented in images of the most special moments.
