Croatian American Cultural Center Wedding | Sarah and Perry

This couple was absolutely precious.  They were so connected on the day of their wedding.  Their mind was on each other entirely, not all the other details of the day that couples often focus on. It was so refreshing to be surrounded by two people who were so entirely focused on the love that led them there that day. Not to mention how amazing and supportive their families were! What a great crew. They knew that no matter what happened with the flowers or decor, at the end of the day, they were going to be husband and wife and that was what it was truly all about.

They had had a beautifully traditional catholic wedding.  The bride looked gorgeous for her big day in her off the shoulder gown with a belt of bling. She was a classic beauty in every sense of the word. Her groom looked so handsome and was incredibly excited to take her hand at the end of the aisle. One of my favorite parts about capturing weddings is seeing the look in the groom’s eyes as he sees his bride for the first time. Whether that be at the end of an aisle, or during a first look. It’s as if they are seeing them for the first time. Reactions range from stunned silence, to whoops of joy, to sweet tears. Every reaction, just like every love, is so unique and touchingly beautiful.

Their ceremony was simply stunning. I loved the pendant lights and gorgeous stained glass in the church.  The blush tones of the flowers and bridesmaids dresses complimented the space perfectly.  Now, do not mistake traditional for stuffy.  These two kept things light and fun during the ceremony in every way they could!  They had their closest friends and family there to support them in one of the biggest decisions of their lives.  Everyone was thrilled for the two to be joining as one. As the ceremony drew to a close, we headed off for the reception were laughs were shared, dance moves were showcased, and love was definitely in the air.

From the ceremony to reception everything looked beautiful and the happy couple was just that, happy.  These two have many years of happiness to look forward to together and it was my pleasure to be able to capture the memories of their first day of forever.
