It was one of those perfect spring days with a gentle breeze in the air when Kristin and Sam said their I do’s under the trees of the Sierra Nevada foothills at their Heirloom Inn Ione Wedding. It was one of those beautiful “not too cool and not too hot” days that make Northern California a very special place to get married. And it was the icing on the cake after 18 months of fantastic milestones for these two.
After one year of dating, the writing was on the wall. Because when you know it’s meant to be, you don’t hesitate! Kristin and Sam knew they were meant for each other pretty early on. And when Sam romantically proposed to Kristin in Mendocino, there was no doubt in either of their minds that this was the start of something very, very special. And so over the next six months things kicked into full motion…they adopted a puppy together (remember Mojo?), bought a house, and Sam managed to get a few racing wins under his belt! All this within a shortened time frame so they could get married at the venue of their dreams…a little gem known as the Heirloom Inn, a hidden treasure in Ione.
Kristin is such a beautiful girl and on her wedding day she truly was a vision to behold. Such a sweet, compassionate, radiant bride….seriously, did I mention how beautiful she it? And Sam is SUCH a super cool guy…wait until you see his dance moves!! Gah!! It was a match made in heaven for sure. These two melt my heart to pieces and I am so thrilled to share their wedding with you. It was an honor and privilege to document their wedding day…truly.
