I don’t think I’ve ever met someone so vibrant, joyous, and full of life as Carol, it’s easy to see how Pete fell for her. But their story is even richer and deeper than that. Two beautiful souls who lost their spouses to heaven above and were left to navigate the road of life alone for years before they found each other. Widowers who couldn’t help but ponder that they might go through the rest of life alone. But that wasn’t God’s plan for them. And when this old school couple decided to go new-tech and put themselves out there in the online dating world, it didn’t take long for the connection to be made and history sealed forever with a kiss. A new family was born, with ties to the past that made them who they are today and a future so bright and lovely it could only have been made by angels.
Carol and Pete are the most amazing mix of youthful love with a mature depth of character. I knew it when they let me take them to the State Fair for the engagement session and it was proven over and over again throughout the entire process. The way Carol lights up any room she’s in is something to see, and Pete is her rock…to me that is so clear. Their Vizcaya Sacramento wedding will go down in the history books as the day that optimism and happiness won. And I am so privileged to have been there to capture it.

Awesome work! What a great couple and perfectly capture moments!

Love the shot of the bride and groom coming down the house stairs.
Great work as always!!
great shots so many beautiful moments.
Awwww I love the emotion during the speeches! 😀
i love the pictures of them getting ready, such a good idea! Awesome shots!
I was totally just shooting photos by that place the other day 🙂
I absolutely love your reception shots here. You seriously make me want to step up my lighting game. SO good!!
What a sweet story they have. Great work, Teresa!
Great photos and a great introduction paragraph! I’m sure you could have been a professional writer as well. I really like some of the themed shots e.g. the wedding rings on the pumpkin. It’s appropriate given that these two have found love again in the Autumn of their lives : )
These are beautiful wedding images. You have captured some very special moments.
Awesome work! such a great story told. awesome.
It’s so hard living alone and not having someone to share your days with, I’m so glad Carol and Pete found their second true love. Carol seems so happy and full of energy, Pete is one lucky man!
Incredible photo’s, I absolutely love your use of light. Every single one of your images really pops from the screen, not just that but you’ve really captured the character of the people too!
This photo shoot just made me smile. The lighting brings out her smile which shines like she is 21 again (but with all the wisdom that comes from living a good life). And, what fun touches they incorporated into the decor, with the lighting gobo and the rings on the pumpkin (Daragh, it’s my favorite shot!).
I’m studying your lighting for my personal event shots because it is at once natural and, well, illuminating. OK that sound silly, but I do love the way your lighting doesn’t overwhelm. Thank you for your generosity in sharing.
These photographs made me smile and cry so many different times I don’t know what to think!
As a budding photographer myself, I am so excited to see such vivid use of light throughout this collection. The light, and the shadows that are cast, almost become separate subjects in some of the photos.
The joy & overall emotion are etched on the faces of your subjects, and you can just FEEL what they’re feeling in every shot! Great, great work!
What a pretty venue! This couple’s wedding photographs are gorgeous, everyone looks so happy, it looks like it was a great day.
Oh Teresa, what a blinding set! Those first look’s are amazing – it’s something which hasn’t taken (yet) here in the UK. Lovely work as usual!
