Candice and Chris met at California State University in Fullerton. Their relationship started as a friendship…best friends actually, but Chris always knew Candice was the one he would spend his life with. And in her heart, I think Candice always did to. Chris is a sentimental guy, and that’s a rare and very cool thing. He liked Candice for a long time before they started dating and after 3 years of an amazing courtship, he proposed.
And so, then comes marriage….Candice spent the morning at her parent’s house getting ready for her wedding day before heading to church to get married to the love of her life. The reception was at an amazing little spot called Crawford’s Barn in Sacramento. The barn is exactly that…a barn (updated with all the modern conveniences you need). Nestled away in an adorable little housing community, you might never know it was there. It’s a blank slate that you can decorate to your heart’s desire. And boy did Candice and her crew do an amazing job. From the goldfish bowls on the tables to the paper lamps hanging fro the ceiling, the place was incredible…all by this remarkably talented DIY bride.
Everyone in Chris and Candice’s family was so warm and inviting. It was a fantastic day. I want to thank the bride and groom so very much for allowing me to tell their love story and to capture this very special day for them through images. And to the family and friends too for allowing me a glimpse into the love and support they have for each other. It was UHmazing. And thank-you again and as always to images by Oliver for being such an amazing second shooter. The value you add to the story is priceless, truly.
