Outdoor enthusiasts to the core, I could not imagine Jenn and Javier saying their vows anywhere else but at their Sand Harbor Lake Tahoe wedding. It was a small and intimate affair that could not have been more perfect. The weather had that hint of fall coolness and the Lake was as beautiful as Jennifer who looked like a goddess on her wedding day, marrying the man who opened up her eyes to a new world and her heart to an unending and deep love. It was truly something special.
It was traditional and yet a celebration all their own with fresh lavender lovingly bundled together by her family, some spicy and downright hugable friends and family from Venezuela, baby cupcakes and pies, and an incredible vegetarian food truck with the tastiest and most unique wedding food I’ve had in a while! It was grand, yet humble and extravagant in the most simple and beautiful way possible.
And we ended in the Lake! Never one to miss a moment to get wet, Javier and his boys honored their tradition of Alpine Lake swimming (regardless of the season). It was so fun to follow them into the water and watch them play around like a bunch of kids. It was a good day that left me so grateful to document another perfect and unique love story. Congratulations Jenn and Javi; the future holds much for you both.
