Sometimes we need the experience of life to prepare us for true love. Because while true love may be ready for us, it doesn’t mean we are ready for her. Ande and Chris went to the same high school in a small town in the California foothills. And though they knew each other, the timing for romance was never quite right.
And so years came and went and they both moved on with their lives. It wasn’t until 2009 when they both signed up for Facebook that they would reconnect. And what started as a chat, turned into an all night phone conversation, and ended with a first date that would prove they were ready for each other. The next chapter in their story ended with a proposal (see their engagement session here).
They celebrated their love, rooted in a common history and cemented in life experiences, under the Oak trees with an intimate Gold Hill Winery wedding accompanied by their children (including the dog!), family, and friends. What a way to start their life together as man and wife. It was a beautiful day that, as Ande describes it, “felt like Christmas morning and Disneyland wrapped all into one”!

So emotional. Just love it. Well done Teresa, i really enjoyed it 😉
I especially like the exit shot with the dog in front. And night portraits are awesome and beautifully done.
Love the father / daughter dance images and the ones after that also!!! Great work!
Stunning work on the formals. Bravo!
What a blast, I love dogs in weddings!
What an insanely gorgeous wedding, Teresa. Great work with the lighting after dark…gorgeous, and no doubt tough to do.
I love the bare foot shots! The shot of the dog running before them is award winning photography!
Love the shot of the dog running after the ceremony! Awesome!
You definitely captured the true love in these photos! Nice
Such great use of light. I great event for good people. That clearly shows. You’ve captured the joy of their wedding perfectly, you can see it on their faces! And that dog, what an awesome thing. he’s as excited as the couple. Wonderful images Teresa.
I am not sure which photograph I like most, the father/daughter dance or the dog doing the “runaway bride” impersonation down the aisle. Was that staged or just a natural occurrence?
Really love how vibrant the colors are in the night setting. I’ve seen some where while the images are good, it lacks something. These are great. Great couple!
Well done Teresa!! I love everything!!
That’s a quet-kwictid answer to a difficult question
