It was a beautiful day with just a hint of fall in the air when Andrea and Travis said their vows in the hills of Placerville at Saulti Cellars, surrounded by the beauty of nature and the love of their friends and family. And the day was exactly as I knew it would be from the moment Andrea’s soon to be mother-in-law Kathy contacted me about their wedding. But it wasn’t just her description of the amazing things Travis and Andrea had planned for their day that got me excited (a Great Gatsby themed wedding at a winery here in Northern California). There was something about the connection between these ladies that told me all I needed to know. I suppose it comes down to the love they both had for Travis; but, somehow it was more than just that. And when I finally got to meet everyone in person, my thoughts were validated, ten fold, in the very best way possible.
You see, a marriage takes two people, completely committed to each other for better or worse, richer or poorer, thinner or fatter, happy or sad…and a list of other things that you never expect that aren’t in the vows (after 16 years of marriage I’ll just ask you to trust me on that one)! You commit to love each other through it all. And Andrea, with her beauty that shines inside and out, and Travis, with his handsome smile and unfailing love and support, together have everything it takes…with a bonus. The love and support a couple surrounds themselves with is key to longevity, kind of like glue holding them together. And after being a part of this wedding journey with them, I can tell you, without a doubt, these guys have super glue on their side!

I like the inventive way of displaying the groups! Really lovely work. 🙂
Great work, Teresa! Loving the Great Gatsby theme, too 😀
That is seriously one of the most gorgeous places Ive ever seen a wedding. Beautiful photos and I just love everything about them! I loved all the group shots and their first look photos were oh so dreamy.
Stunning, particularly love the one of the bride going down the steps in front of the lodge, and then the one with them both on the steps with everyone looking on, just perfect!
You Rocked it as per usual. I really dig the b&w of the groom at the beginning. the directional lighting is perfect.
Lovely as always Teresa!
Great job Teresa! These are sure to make them happy 🙂 Suppa jelly of that gorgeous Cali light in all those portraits! You really worked that reception, too. Lovely!
I absolutely love the details in this wedding! So many beautiful photos filled with gorgeous light.
I like the black and white shot of the bride leaving for the first look session while the bridesmaids are still getting ready.
Beautifully shot wedding, those couples shots are amazing – gorgeous colours!
Such a beautiful wedding. Seriously great work all around.
Awesome! Lots of great light that you harnessed. Also, that shot of the little boy with the sign is so hilarious!
Awesome work. Did great considering the size of that bridal party too!!!!
Lovely moments. great feel.
I love all the non traditional photos. I guess some of them are becoming traditional now, but it is just so creative.
