Jenn and Arnell are two of the most beautiful, compassionate, and caring individuals you could ever know. Theirs is not a love at first sight story; it’s more like the slow and steady burn of a candle that is meant to last forever. It was God who brought them together and with faith in him they held hands and took the next step in their relationship…becoming man and wife. I had the pleasure of shooting their engagement session at the Empire mines in Grass Valley last October. It was there that I truly saw the depth of how beautiful their relationship really is.
Both of these two are servants in their church and have hearts so big that only each of them individually could hold the others. Jenn, with her beautiful smile and soft ways stole Arnell’s heart. And like a slow growing Japanese Maple tree, their love blossomed over time. Once the seed was planted; there was no doubt that something beautiful would grow from it.
And so they said their vows with a gorgeous Saint Patrick’s Grass Valley Catholic wedding and celebrated with friends and family in the Saint Canice reception hall in Nevada City. It was a beautiful cool mountain day in the middle of the summer and the smell of the pines was everywhere. It was a day to celebrate two hearts, two souls, and two families joining together in the bonds of marriage. And oh what a day it was!
