When Brittany contacted me with a specific concept in mind, I racked my brain trying to find the perfect spot. I made a trip downtown to visit the Cosmo Cafe and it was everything I was looking for. Cosmo is a part of the Paragary Restaurant group, need I say more? Luckily the manager agreed to let us shoot there. Thanks Jennifer!!
Brittany arranged to have make-up and wardrobe for this shoot. I once again found myself collaborating with Summer and a new face Aaron Cee who styled the shoot fabulously. It’s always fun when you’ve got a team working to make you look your best!
Once we were done in the cafe, we headed up to the rooftop. I took this shot on the way up just outside the restaurant.
The rooftop was great and I will definitely go back to do more shoots here!
Check out those legs!
When we were all done, Julia of Julia Jensen photography (who had come along to shoot with me) and I went back to the cafe and had lunch. We shared a Reuben and let me tell you…that was some of the BEST corned beef I have ever had. It was soooo yummy and I highly recommend it. If you are looking for a place downtown to eat check out the Cosmo Cafe . You’ll love it!
Here’s a little blurb taken from their website:
Positioned on the bustling corner of 10th & K Streets, Cosmo Cafe provides a unique restaurant experience mere steps from office buildings, theaters and hotels. The menu features contemporary takes on classic American dishes, as well as many in-house preparations such as smoking and curing. Look for New York deli-inspired sandwiches at lunch, which will be available within the restaurant or for take-out and delivery. As with all of our restaurants, most everything that comes out of the kitchen is made with fresh, local produce; a practice that is vital to providing every guest with the highest quality of food.
Great job! I love the red shoes!!
