Folsom Engagement Photos | Joe and Jill + 3

When Jill said yes to Joe she said it to not only him, but to his three beautiful children as well. So of course we included the kids in their engagement session! And after spending time with these two I can assure you that their story would be incomplete without these little sweethearts. Moreover, I can honestly say I’m not sure who was the bigger kid that afternoon…the littles or Joe?! Oh my dear beautiful Jill, I think you are going to have your hands full with this bunch!

We went to my favorite spot at the lake for their Folsom engagement photos. It was a unseasonably warm day with hints of spring in the air that left me smiling from ear to ear and full of excitement for their upcoming wedding this year.

  1. I couldn’t help but smile looking through these images. Such a fun, happy family. That last one is awesome. Great eye!

  2. This is a great session — I really like how you used the light against the gnarled tree branches, and the silhouettes at the end 🙂

  3. Lovely blended family. You truly capture their happiness and their love in this. The photos of them on the rock is my ultimate favorite, it’s almost unreal.Beautiful!

  4. It is wonderful that you, and they, wanted the kids in the pictures.:) It is a package deal when kids are involved….The picture of Joe and Jill where she is wearing the white top and by that big boulder…. beautiful! And the very last pic in the series…..wonderful job! Wishing this new family all the happiness! 🙂 (And she WILL have her hands full….good luck!)

  5. Without doubt I can say these will be happily ever after. She seems so lovely and the fact he still acts like a kid can brighten up even the darkest days. My husband sometimes acts more childish than our 7 year old – in a funny way – and they always make me smile no matter how tired I am.

  6. Such cute family photos! Those kids are so lively! And he couple, you can tell how much they love each other. You really have a way of painting a picture with your photography skills. Keep going with them, you will go far. You are an amazingly gifted artist behind the camera.
