I’ve been a bad, bad blogger. 2015 has shaped up to be my busiest year yet; and with all the weddings and Facebook sneak peeks, I’ve not been good at keeping up with sharing here. So if you are looking for the latest and greatest, be sure to check my personal and business Facebook pages.
Now back to the blog…very early in my career, I made a commitment to blog every single couple that entrusted me with the privilege of documenting their wedding day. And I mean it completely when I say that every wedding I photograph retains a special place in my heart. Documenting two beautiful souls surrounded by their friends and families as they officially transition from two to one hits me in the heart every single time. It’s something I will never ever take for granted. So here’s to catching up the blog up to my heart!!
Scott and Megan were introduced to me through one of my very favorite wedding planners, Lora Ward of A Day to Remember. The care and love she shows for her couples has always been impressive to me. She has the skill and experience to put together an amazing team and makes sure that the wedding day goes off without a hitch. She will do whatever it takes to make sure her couples are happy. She also introduced me to the fabulous Gold Hill Gardens Newcastle wedding venue where the owner, Mike, takes great pride in his venue and truly puts his clients needs above his own. I love working with other vendors who care about their clients as much as I do!!
When I first met these two lovelies, I knew they both were something special. It was such a pleasure to capture both their engagement and wedding. First, you could feel the generosity of their spirits in the way they interacted. And I don’t just mean with each other, I mean with everyone and everything around them. There is a special softness and quietness they both share that just gives you a sense of calm being around them. Plus, Scott is a teacher and Megan is an optometrist, so you know just based on their career choices that they enjoy taking care of people. It was an amazingly beautiful overcast day filled with lawn games, love, family, friends, and a few epic sunset images that felt straight out of Gone With The Wind that will stick with me for a long, long time to come.

Always a great job, Teresa.
Love this set Teresa! The Backlit shot is amaaaaazing!
Teresa, their portraits are so, so beautiful! Just perfect, spot on. This was such a pretty wedding and they’re such an adorable couple. Beautiful job.
Fab coverage of a fab wedding Teresa! Loved the portraits and that ceremony location… WHAAAA!!! Awesome work.
All great but I particularly like that image of the couple near the cows – that needs to be printed out large on their wall!
Love the colour in their details – so much vibrancy! And that third hammock shot – AMAZING!
Your lighting work here is absolutely stunning!!
Beautiful, sweet style. Love your perspective of the world, the night shots in particular.
