On Thanksgiving (and every day), for these things I am grateful:
Having the basic necessities in life that so many of us take for granted: food, clothing, shelter and love.
That our God is loving and merciful and for the promise that Jesus Christ holds for us.
For my husband who is a good man and commits himself fully to his wife and children every day. I made the best decision ever when I married him. He’s my best friend and I cannot even imagine this journey without him.
For our two beautiful children, who are healthy and happy kids. They bring me great joy every single day and are teaching me patience in a way I never thought possible.
For all of my family, both near and far and our ability to overcome our differences and love each other unconditionally and without reserve.
For the friends who are close to my heart and have made my life so much richer.
For the very special clients I have met through this journey who have trusted me to capture important events and moments in their lives and the friendships I have formed with them. In the beginning I had no idea what an experience taking someone’s picture could be. And I have enjoyed every single one of my clients; documenting their lives has enriched mine.
For the ability to express myself through photography, I don’t think it would have meant as much to me if I had discovered it any earlier than I did.
And for the sun. Thanksgiving also means winter is approaching and I do not function well when the sun leaves me for too long. So I am appreciating it as much as I can for now! I guess that’s the Arizona girl in me…
Awesome blog T!!……Thank you for helping me take a step back and think of how well I have made my life for me and my family!!
