First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby in the baby carriage, right? It’s as natural as the lyric suggests, just like this beautiful family. Jonathan and Julie met and fell in love, got married, had two beautiful children, and then they called me to take pretty pictures! Oh wait, that last part isn’t part of the song…but it should be!
And if Jonathan’s face seems familiar to you, it’s because I did portraits for his brother James and his girl Jenna this summer (you can see that post here). Apparently, your name has to start with a J to hang with these guys! But the real trouble is that they look so much alike I kept calling Jonathan by his brother’s name. Doh! Hopefully they both can forgive me. But seriously, they look soooo much alike.
We decided on Wine and Roses for the shoot, which for the record is a beautiful location for weddings too. The day was perfect and so was this adorable little family. I love all of the images we created; in fact, I captured one of my all time favorite family images. Can you guess which one it is? I’ll give you a hint…the look on the kids faces is priceless! Now you’re curious, aren’t you? My work here is done…
The two group shots of the family underneath the trees are outstanding, they’ll look great printed.

What a cute family. I agree with Albert, that one under the tree needs to be printed very big. Great location!
What a beautiful family. I love the first set of couple shots where they are looking at each other and then the expression on her face when she is looking at the camera. So pretty.

What a lovely session. Great lighting and they all seem so at ease and happy in front of the camera, which is always great to see. I especially love the shot of the two kids looking at each other through the fence. Really nice job!

Love the shots of them through the wooden fence!
Beautiful work Teresa! The two of the kids in the tree would have to be side by side canvas wraps in my house. They have to be ecstatic over these.

Good processing! I love the natural look of it, and they look so relaxed and happy.
