When I first met Christina, it was over Skype. She was working in New York, planning her wedding in California while her fiancé was at school in Davis. I was immediately struck by her gregariousness and her beautiful, slightly wild and crazy hair (color me jelly). Seriously, she was just this adorable little package of vivaciousness with an attitude so laid back it would be impossible not to be comfortable around from the moment you met her.
She and her love, Nick, were planning a traditional Sacramento Greek Orthodox Church Wedding with the reception to be held at the Del Paso Country Club. I won’t lie, when she started talking about all the wonderful traditions they were including and how the majority of her guests would be flying in from Greece to attend the wedding, I was impossibly smitten. And when I met Nick and their families on the wedding day, I knew it was going to be something a little extraordinary. What a way to end my 2015 wedding season!
