Spring Break in Monterey | Personal

This year for spring break we decided to head to the coast. It had been a few years since the kids have been to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the ocean is such a calming place for me. It was a wonderful trip! Vacations are such a great bonding time, just being outside of the every day routine on a little adventure as a family. Here are a few of my captures from our adventure.

  1. The kids look like they’re having a great time. I like your use of shallow depth of field in some of these photos, Especially the photo of the young girl in the field. You really have captured their personalities in these images.

  2. Those kids were so photogenic! I can’t believe how well the photographs turned out! I really think the beach scenes are the best ones and the kids look like they had a lot of fun doing it. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Your kids are gorgeous, bet they are happy their mommy is an excellent profession photographer, our family photos are usually blurry, crooked or untimed well haha! Nice touch with the graffiti against your sonโ€™s sweatshirt, it looks pretty cool!

  4. Well your talents for amazing photography doesn’t stop at weddings. The smiles and joy on the kids faces just shows what a great time they’re having, and your little spring break looks like an extraordinary amount of fun! No monotony of day to day life there! I love the backdrop of the graffiti photos. They’re some of my favourite things to photograph. Have you ever heard of Hoiser Lane in Melbourne, Australia? If you haven’t, you should look it up. Those first few photos remind me of it, and it’s such a great place to photograph, especially on a rainy day.

  5. You are so talented and professional! These pictures are awesome. All the people in your images always look great and natural!

  6. What adorable little ones. It’s nice to get a look on the personal side of you. I know you like to share your work, but seeing the ‘you’ side of you is really nice too. Thanks for giving us that insight.
