Stephanie had a beautiful wedding, but when she got her pictures back she was not happy with the images. And no, just for the record, I was not her wedding photographer.
So Stephanie opted for a post-wedding bridal session. These sessions are really starting to become popular and I sure understand why. I mean, what else do you do with your dress after you’ve gotten married in it? Some brides have portraits taken with their groom post-wedding too! I love the idea and hope to do more of these types of shoots in the future.
I took these images of Stephanie at the Sacramento state capital. There are so many areas to photograph and the grounds are just gorgeous. We ended up at a church across the street. I guess it’s symbolic that the dress would end where it started.

I love them. I totally agree. If I could still fit in my dress I would. =) I’m starting my diet tomorrow. Also having the bride be much more relaxed (without a wedidng to worry about) makes for absolutely gorgeous pictures.
