Talk about two hearts made for each other! Like two puzzle pieces, Jacob and Emily fit perfectly together. You can always tell a lot about a couple just by the people they choose to surround themselves with. Spending the day with these two and their awesome bridal party showed me just how fun and loved they truly are! We started our day in the bridal suite, getting everyone ready for the big day. I love how well take care of Emily was. Her friends were the perfect support group, which allowed Emily the opportunity to sit back and relax. A bride’s dream come true! Her strapless gown fit her like a glove and flattered her figure perfectly. When her dad saw her for the first time, I’m not sure who was smiling more. Me or him!
Once we captured a few group and bridal shots, the big moment had arrived! Emily walked down the aisle to a very excited Jacob. Capturing the expression on groom’s faces as they see their bride for the first time is one of my absolute favorite parts of wedding photography. They just can’t hide the pure joy on their faces. Priceless! As you can clearly see, Jacob did not disappoint 😉 About half-way through the ceremony, there was a moment I am SO thankful I was able to capture. Jacob reached up, and gently touched her smiling face. It pulled at my heartstrings and reinforced my love even further for wedding photography.
They had a relatively large bridal party (seven on each side). They rocked their bridal party portraits though, and we were done in a flash! Once we finished up with the bridal party, I stole Emily and Jacob away for a few newlywed portraits. Can you say stunning light?! When it comes to outdoor photography such as this, lighting is king. And this golden light made my heart absolutely sing. Once the vows were exchanged and sealed with a kiss, and portraits were done, it was time to party! And party we did!! I had such an amazing time capturing these memories and moments for Emily and Jacob. Congratulations you two! 🙂
Capturing the Ridge Golf Course & Events Center Wedding for Emily and Jacob was truly an honor. Two hearts better suited for each other would be hard to find!!
