I can’t believe it’s been so long since I’ve posted to my blog. The world took a very unexpected turn in 2020 and it really hit the wedding and event industry hard. As things start to go back to normal, well a new normal I guess I should say, I wanted to flood the website with all of the amazing couples I never finished posting before things got crazy. So get ready for new posts of wonderful weddings. The time seems right and I hope it inspires you for your own wedding or brings back memories of weddings you’ve been a part of in the past.
First up, Megan and Cody. After five years together, Cody proposed in Tahoe on Megan’s birthday. What a wonderful birthday surprise! I found Megan and Cody to both be really sweet and laid back as I came to know them better at their engagement session. While Megan professed that she wasn’t comfortable in front of a camera, I think these images prove otherwise!
Their Catholic church wedding was full of tradition and family. Their personal highlights from the wedding day included seeing each other for the first time when Megan walked down the aisle, finally being married, and celebrating that with family and friends that they don’t always get to spend time with.
