Sometimes less is more, and for Sarah and Bill that statement couldn’t be more true. The simplicity, elegance and charm of their wedding day matched that of their lives together and suited them both perfectly. I am a firm believer that on your wedding day, you should be free to have a wedding that reflects you and your personal style. Sarah and Bill did just that.
For this wedding I again had the pleasure of working with Oliver of images by Oliver. I love the flexibility and coverage two shooters gives you on your wedding day. Thanks for the excellent shots (as usual) Oliver!
This shot Oliver took of the shoes really compliments the set!
The flowers were so colorful and cheery!
Bla Bling!!
Sarah is such a stunner…she reminds me of Gwyneth Paltrow in this picture…
The ceremony was held at the Menlo Park Presbyterian Church and what a gorgeous church it was!
Two shooters make it easy to capture both the groom and brides expressions as they see each other for the first time…
We took a quick break to let the guests make their way to the reception so we could do a few portraits of the bride and groom at the church. I love this moment between Sarah and Bill…
And it is all about the moments…the bride and groom portraits are a nice time to relax and enjoy each others company. Plus, we had an engagement session back in the fall, so Sarah and Bill new exactly what to expect (lots of kissing, laughing, and fun)
These two are such beautiful people…and I swear, love makes everyone look even more gorgeous in photographs!
The wind was a little temperamental (just like at their engagement session).
A limo ride to the reception is always a good idea…
The reception was back at Bill and Sarah’s house in Saratoga. The event was managed by Fourth Wall Events and the food was by PSRT catering. Both did an excellent job. The food and service was exemplary!
These beautiful flowers were in the pool and they looked so great…
Sarah and Bill opted for a desert bar instead of cake…complete with coffee and tea
Check out this yummy shot Oliver grabbed of one of the desert trays…
Sarah and Bill’s romance started in the office, and this tree played a very crucial part in their meeting. You see Bill shared the fruit from this tree with his co-workers. And once Sarah took an interest in Bill’s fruit, it was only a matter of time before wedding bells would ring!
A thank you and toast to the guests…
And a special dance as husband and wife…I love Oliver’s shot with the beautiful rim light coming in…
Thank you Sarah and Bill so much for allowing me the honor and privilege of being your wedding photographer. I hope that you are having a phenomenal time in Italy and enjoy coming home and reliving your day again through these images!
