Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament Wedding | Sacramento Grand Ballroom Reception | M and C

M and C’s Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament wedding was held on a lovely warm fall day in downtown Sacramento. After getting ready at the always elegant Sheraton Grand Hotel they celebrated their nuptials with a reception at the Sacramento Grand Ballroom. It was a day they both had looked forward to for a very long time. A day full of hope, promise, love, family, friends, and God.

Unfortunately due to the nature of C’s job, I am unable to show any images that disclose his face as a matter of national security. But I will share that a few days after the wedding C told me that as we walked around the downtown area for the romantic portrait portion of the day he felt like a King with his newly wed Queen. And I think they looked the part of royalty on their very special and perfect day too!

Here is just a small glimpse of all the love and beauty that surrounded these two as they celebrated their new life as husband and wife.

  1. How cute are the bride’s peep toe sparkly silver shoes! lol What a beautiful ceremony and how cool are those lights in the after party! hehe Such a beautiful day captured in these amazing photos. Thanks for sharing these!

  2. Those pictures of them dancing are hilarious! That church is SO gorgeous. Just absolutely beautiful! I love the picture of them through the cross. So creative!

  3. I love how you captured the grand nature of the cathedral wedding and the overall romance! My two favourites are the photo peeping through the cross and the couple kissing in the street! Lovely!

  4. That cake is insane, you definitely wouldn’t expect a Mickey Mouse cake topper for a wedding where the groom could be a secret spy haha! Gorgeous wedding, surreal cathedral and incredible photos, bet this was very thrilling to capture on camera! You must have had a lot of fun while taking these photos.

  5. I have always been a sucker for beautiful cathedrals, and I absolutely love the way you were able to use the obvious ambiance in the chapel to portray the romance of this special day through your photographs.
Your variety of shots – and the way you creatively frame your shots through objects – is a testament to your talent, and I can only imagine how thankful they will be to look at the pictures you’ve taken of this important day for years to come. You & your talent will always be a part of their lives!
