Capitol Park Engagement Session | Downtown Sacramento | Daniel + Carol

Welcome to the little engagement session that almost never was! I’m telling you, the weather did not want to cooperate with us at all for Daniel and Carol’s engagement shoot. We tried Tahoe, but a huge snowstorm kept that from happening, then we tried the previous weekend, and the fog was so thick it was touching the ground. Maybe it’s me? My last engagement shoot was in gale force winds….interesting

Well despite snow and fog, I was finally able to photograph this fantastic couple at the California State Capitol Park. It was a little gray, but the love and energy from this these two brought brightness and warmth to the day!

  1. I LOVE the one of them holding hands, slightly apart, in front of the building!! But they are all wonderful, what a terrific job you did!

  2. These are fantastic! I especially love the one of them sitting in the big tree, mostly because I love climbing trees so that is close to my heart! 🙂 Great job!

  3. Super, super shots Teresa! That tree in the beginning is awesome! What a treat that most have been to climb on.

  4. I love the one of Carol behind Daniel with her hands around his neck and the background blurred!! All these are terrific shots and I think you have really captured their relationship. Can't wait to see the wedding photos!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Gary & Jane Crisp (Carol's parents): We love the way you have successfully captured Carol and Daniel's affection for each other, the great scenery, and offered a wide range of choices with your poses. Great job!

  6. It was a great session and Teresa is great! It was so much fun going all arounda the capitol…yes, even giving up the dip! 🙂

  7. Daniel: Teresa was wonderful to work with. She made us feel at ease and allowed us to express our love for each other. I learned that Carol does not like to be dipped but those were the best shots. ;)=)

  8. They are very natural!!! beautiful pictures. Make me think I should get some for our first aniversary. Congratulations to both of you.

  10. The guy looks ok but not so sure about the lady. Great job with the photos to make her look the best. Suppose love overlooks the small things :> Guess I shouldn't downgrade a loved family member. We're related of two families. Family of GOD and Love Uncle Marty and family

  11. The beauty of Miss Carol radiates more than a rainbow on a spring day. Thank God she takes after her mother rather than her father.

  12. Loved the environment–so many interesting settings. I hope someone stopped the traffic in that one photo. You both look very happy. I am happy for you.

  13. Beautiful! I think my favorite is the dip in the street. I think they should recreate that pose for us in the hallway of the clinic. 😉 Seriously though, the pictures are gorgeous!

  14. Great photo's especially of Daniel and Carol in the tree. Great back ground shots. Congrats to the Happy Couple.

  15. Whoo Hoo look at them legs.
How many times did you fall out the tree before you guys stayed up? any ways loved the pics looked like alot of fun to do. Love the close up of both of you directly at the camera, and the one of you on his back. You know this guy has to meet me, RIGHT?

  16. Nice work. I really like the shot just before the ring shot. Very sweet. And I love how she's breaking out the model pose and attitude in the second last one.

  17. Oh wow!! These pics are SO great!! You two look like you should be in a magazine somewhere! LOVE them! 🙂
