From the moment I met Jenn and Arnell, I knew they were the type of people that approached life with a certain level of care and concern. I found this cautious optimism shared between them, and expressed in their love for one another, quite beautiful. Long time friends turned sweethearts; this adorable couple from Grass Valley wanted an Empire Mine engagement session, a place very special to them.
But what I didn’t expect was a new, even more electric dynamic that came from the time they had spent taking dance classes together in preparation for their wedding day. I think dancing with your partner brings a whole new level of intimacy to your relationship. And by the way these two were moving, I’d say they are in perfect sync.
And did I mention that Arnell sang to his love among the tall trees of the northern Sierra Foothills? It was an amazing day that made me even more excited for their wedding next year!
They’re such a cute couple! I love the locations you had to work with here.
