It seems like I’m always overdue for updated fall portraits of the kids. And it’s so true what they say about time flying when you have young ones in the house. Mitchell is now 12 (a pre-teen!!) and Miss Megan is 7. They are growing-up so fast right before my eyes!
So, we decided to take advantage of this dry warm weather we’re having here in Northern California and hit my favorite spot for photographs, Folsom Lake. Well I think it’s still a lake; it looks more like a river with this drought we are experiencing. That or the spot where they filmed the moon landing has now been exposed *wink*.
Wonderful portraits! I love the “karate kid” one! Also, beautiful backlighting.
I really love this last photo. All of them are wonderful. The natural setting and actions really make these poses keepers!
I can’t believe how grown up your kids are 🙂 love all the reflections you shot here!
AHHHHHH your choice of location here is so awesome. It gave you such stunning light and a unique backdrop. Killer work, lady friend 🙂
I hope I end up taking photos like this of my kids when I have them.
We used to go out on road trips to Folsom Lake when I was a kid — what a trip to see these photos! Your kiddos are darling, I hope they have fond memories of this place, too.
These portraits are gorgeous! And I love the location you chose. Awesome work.
Awesome photos Teresa!
What a great set! This is so cool that you can do this for your kids, they will love these when they are older (and probably now to!)
So, so great! I love them all!
your kids are SO cute! Love that last shot especially. Would totally blow that up.
Those are great photos of your kids. I really like the photo of your daughter on the rock bending over.
