I met Sarah and her mom back in December. I remember that I had a bit of a leftover cold and kept having these little involuntary coughs when I would speak too much. Sarah and her mother both showed so much concern over me, it was sweet. I could tell they were warm and loving people (my favorite kind). We spoke about the wedding and their vision for photography (wait until you see the spot they hooked up for the bridal party pictures downtown). I knew they were good people and when they chose me to be the wedding photographer, I was very excited!
So, we scheduled (and rescheduled) the engagement session for a later date when the weather was a little nicer and Sarah was all done with her master’s degree. We chose to go to one of my very favorite spots at Folsom Lake for their session. It’s a little walk to get back to the lake, but soooo worth it!
Since I didn’t meet Brian at the consult, I was anxious to meet him for the engagement session. I was glad we were going to get to spend some time together before the wedding so he could get used to being in front of the camera. For some people it comes very natural to have their pictures taken, for others…it takes a little adjustment. But let me tell you, it didn’t take long for Brian to warm up and show his personality.
I couldn’t be happier to shoot these two lovelies again at their wedding next month. Sarah is just a beautiful girl with a gentle spirit and Brian is a great match for her. Their wedding is going to be completely amazing!
Love those rocks in that first location!!! Great session, so many images that I picture on a canvas hanging over the couch. I think the clients will be so happy!
