I adore the family unit. There’s something about watching the subtle ways in which people who love each other interact that is just so interesting and beautiful. When Katrina contacted me to take portraits of her and her family, I was completely enamored with the sense of comfort that she had in the midst of what I could only assume was a somewhat chaotic life raising twins with her husband James. It was like, life’s crazy and I LOVE it. And I LOVE that. The joy just radiated from Katrina and her family all day. But maybe it’s a Canadian thing? Anyway, I am happy to share this session at Folsom Lake (one of my favorite spots to photograph) with you of Katrina, James and their adorable children who will grow up knowing all the joy that life has to offer because that’s exactly what their parents showed them.
These are awesome!! Everyone needs family photographs like these. Next time you are in Australia you are doing ours for sure!!
