Nina and Ryan are childhood sweethearts; they’ve known each other since elementary school. I love when a couple has a history like that. Imagine the stories they’ll be able to tell their children and grandchildren some day. And let me just tell you, these two are so much in love and so used to being together that they even work for the same company. If that’s not a true testament of a couple’s love for each other, I don’t know what is!
Their wedding was held at an amazing little venue in North Highlands called the General’s Garden. It’s run by the Lions Gate Hotel and Conference Center, and it’s basically the quarters where the general lived when the base was in operation. It’s gorgeous digs and the backyard was just perfect for the wedding. It gave Nina and Ryan’s wedding all the charm of a backyard wedding with the glamour and amenities of being at a full service venue.
It was a wonderful day and everyone made us feel at home. This wedding was extra special because it was for the very talented Greg Reyes’s son. Greg is an awesome photographer who also shoots weddings and portraits. So yeah, no pressure here…
I was also able to shoot with my dear friend and an amazing photographer Mr. Gavin Farrington. He is truly gifted; and, it was so nice to work with him and his partner Grace. They both added some tremendous images to the story.
But don’t take my word for it…see for yourself!

Gawd! These images are unbelievable gorgeous! I love the bride’s sort of non symmetrical dress. And the light during the ceremony was perfect! The cute twirling image on the street. I love that one.
Looks like a beautiful wedding, Teresa. Love the portraits of them and that group shot on the steps is fantastic. Nice work!
Loving all those backlighting, the magazine quality detail shots and the wonderful moments captured. And the formals are great! A-Class! You guys rocked it totally!
Beautiful, Teresa. Very well taken advantage of the great light.
What a beautiful wedding! You’ve made the most of the gorgeous light as well, really lovely.
