Spring is in the air! And, what a better way to celebrate the beauty of long hibernating trees in bloom and warm breezes hinting of summer than with Martinique and Aaron’s engagement session.
We headed out to one of my favorite spots at Folsom Lake in Granite Bay. It’s a special place that Tim used to take me when we were dating that always makes me happy; and, I just love sharing it with my couples. Plus, it turned out to be one of those days where old man winter must have been napping and forgot to bring the rain or fog. So yeah, I’d say it was a really good day.
Less than two months until the wedding…I can’t wait!!

Love those creative lighting shots. These are really beautiful.
Take a happy couple, sprinkle in some awesome light and add a dash of creativity and you’ll get a wonderful set of memories like these.

Lovely!!! Such creative and fun use of light and the couple looks so in love and beautiful!
Cool use of light with the blue tiles; and the spacious simplicity of the beach shots is great.
