I have a special place in my heart for those who give back as a way of life; especially those who make it their profession. And when two individuals with wide-open hearts and a passion for helping others decide to share their lives together, great things always happen. And so it is with Dustin and Amanda. Dustin, the calm, handsome, brave firefighter, putting his life on the line for others and his kind, warmhearted, beautiful Amanda, a teacher who has dedicated herself to enriching the lives of others. Together it’s almost overwhelming how much love and graciousness you can feel flowing from them.
Their wedding was at one of my very favorite intimate outdoor venues, the Heirloom Inn in Ione. Sherry does an amazing job; and, her Bed and Breakfast boutique style venue was the perfect backdrop to celebrate the start of Dustin and Amanda’s life together as man and wife.
It was a hot summer day and a cool summer night that couldn’t have been more perfect or fitting for these two. Did I mention there was a firetruck and plenty of firefighters on hand? Or, that Amanda’s wedding dress makes my top list of most beautiful wedding dresses I’ve had the privilege to photograph? I thought that might get your attention!
