Last weekend I had the most wonderful opportunity to photograph Jim and Erinne’s wedding at the Swedenborgian Church in San Francisco. When Jim first contacted me I immediately heard in his voice the love he had for his bride to be. Jim was worried about Erinne and the stress level of planning a wedding and all the other crazy life things they were juggling at the time. Erinne was leading the hunt for their wedding photographer and he wanted to help her, so he called me.
After the first conversation I had with Erinne, I could tell she was very warm hearted. And she, just like Jim, was concerned about her future husband to be and his stress levels.
Between the two of them, I’m think that they were mostly worried about each other more then anything else!
Well let me just jump to the end of the story….the wedding was PERFECT and went off without a single hitch. And at the end of the day, the happy ending they were looking for was found!
Erinne had a suite at the Fairmont hotel in San Francisco. All the girls had champagne and strawberries to indulge with. The atmosphere was filled with good cheer and anticipation!
And the details…well they were just outstanding!!
Erinne looked absolutely radiant in her dress
Jim and Erinne opted for a first look. A first look is when the bride and groom see each other for the first time BEFORE the ceremony. It’s a very special moment between the bride and groom (with me and my camera there to capture it all). I just love when clients are open to this idea. It was SUCH a special and private moment between Jim and Erinne, plus it gave them time to get all the group photographs done before the ceremony so they could enjoy the cocktail hour with their guests. I think it’s just brilliant!!
I think the bulk of the stress was pretty much gone at this point…
Isn’t Erinne just GORGEOUS?!
And Jim’s a pretty good looking guy too!
The Swedenborgian Church is the oldest church in San Francisco and the ambiance was incredible. The church was lit almost entirely with candles….it was so romantic!!
After the ceremony, Jim and Erinne with their best man and maid of honor, went into a small room in the back of the church to sign the church registry. The registry dates back all the way to the 1800s. But as you can tell…it was all about celebration at this point!! Nothing too serious going on here. 🙂
The reception was sooooo much fun. Everyone had an amazing time. Jim and Erinne throw the BEST parties ever!!
Thank you Jim and Erinne so much for allowing me the honor of photographing your day. You made me feel so welcomed into your family. It was a privledge and I felt so happy to be a part of it.
I also want to thank Oliver of images by Oliver for coming to second shoot and capture of the the magic of this special day.
