Signs are everywhere. Sometimes we we notice them and sometimes we don’t, but they are there if you look for them. One of the signs that Steve and Teresa look for in their lives is the number eleven. It seems like a normal number and you wouldn’t think too much of it, but when you start paying attention…strange things can happen!
And so I met this beautiful couple in search of a photographer for their spring-time brunch style La Provence Roseville wedding. They told me about how they met and how deep their love was for each other. They shared how each of their individual children were excited for them to be married and be a blended family. And they said how extremely happy they made each other. They were so full of life, love, happiness and graciousness it melted me complete. I didn’t know of the number game before I met them, but by the time we were through I was convinced I was pulled into their number eleven life for a reason!
I know, I know. I’m not a numerologist or anything like that and does sound a bit strange. But let me count for you the ways the number eleven keeps popping up!
Their wedding day was 04/11 – my mother’s birthday is 04/11
My birthday is 11/29 (11 & 11 (9+2))
My phone number ends in 2911 ((9+2) 11 & 11)
And then I go and post their sneak peeks at 11:11 and I posted 33 (3 x 11). And I swear, it was not on purpose at all!!
Maybe it’s silly, but it did make me pause. And as a person who believes everything happens for a reason…it made me smile and feel blessed to be the one to capture their wedding day story. The story of a boy and a girl with hurt in their past and hope in their future. A couple who said their vows under an old Oak Tree in the eleven o’clock hour on the eleventh day of the month surrounded by their family and friends with a warm, gentle spring breeze blanketing their union. It was a good day indeed. And for their blog post you bet your booty I made sure not to miss that 11:11 time-slot! I’m all in guys.

Some really beautiful and natural photos! You really captured the happiness and vibe of the entire day. The photos of the couple in the lavender fields are stunning. I also love the ‘getting ready’ photos – all the excitement really shows. And the photo of Grandma – absolutely love it! Again, thank you for sharing!
I keep coming back to your site because you post more than photos, you post stories. As for 11, a few years ago I had a moment when it kept popping everywhere: the birth of my nephew, my niece’s graduation day, it kept showing even in groceries bill.
