Lake Tahoe is one of my very favorite spots for a California destination wedding. And lucky for those of us who live in Northern California, it’s right here in our own backyard!! But that’s just where we ended up; let’s go back to where it began.
Stephanie and Travis were still scoping out where they wanted to exchange vows when I first met them. Stephanie, who had just moved to California from Florida to be with Travis, was not too familiar with the area. So when we got together for their engagement session at Apple Hill and they told me they had decided on Tahoe, I was thrilled…an outdoor lakefront wedding with a mansion in the backdrop…ummmm, yes please!
And these two lovebirds…totally a match made in heaven. Stephanie is what I like to refer to as a yoga goddess. She’s amazing. AMAZING. Her spirit completely matches her beauty; she’s gorgeous inside and out. And Travis, is every bit the man that it takes to match a woman of her caliber. These two make my heart smile every time I think of them.
The day started at Harrah’s in the bridal suite. Stephanie and her besties enjoyed their time together getting ready while Travis hung out with his guys. We took a limo to the ceremony site, a little off the beaten path and away from the casinos toward the north shore, to the Erhman-Hellman mansion.
Yep, it was perfect. The weather, the location, the people, the joy, the happiness…it was everything that Stephanie and Travis had planned it to be. And I feel so blessed to have been a part of their special day.
So here’s to you Stephanie and Travis because Tahoe, is for lovers.
