They say the painter’s house is not always freshly painted and the projects at the construction guy’s house are never complete. And now, I really understand what that means. I was looking through images of my own children and realized that while I had captured many events and happenings in their lives, it had been two years since I took them out for an official portrait session. TWO YEARS. Now that doesn’t mean I don’t have a lot of great images of my children (just check out my Facebook page and you’ll see what I mean). It just means I don’t have a lot of the more traditional stuff. And while I LOVE the candid moments so very much, I know the value of a traditional portrait is important too.
And so I took the kids for a walk around our neighborhood on one of the many wonderful bike paths that Folsom has and took some portraits of them. It’s amazing how fast they grow up and how much they change. I’m so grateful to have them and to have these images of them to look back on. Next time I promise not to wait so long!
Well, they are just TOO CUTE!! What a wonderful session Teresa! I love love rows 3 and 4, they are going to be such lookers when they grow up!! 🙂

Your kids are dolls Teresa! I mean, not that you need me to confirm that for you, but they’re both adorable and I love how they look so sweetly at the camera like they know they’re so used to this camera business, but they’ll put up with it again, just because they love you.
