There are some people in this world who have souls that radiate so strongly and so magnificently, they are almost tangible. It was only about 2 minutes or so into our first consult before I realized how incredibly kind, beautiful, generous, and loving Norma and Taylor both were. Maybe it was the lack of pretentiousness as they described their wedding day on a private ranch estate in Nicasio as a “fancy BBQ” rather than a formal wedding. Or the way they approached their relationship, with so much care and concern that it wasn’t until after ten years that they decided it was time for the next step of marriage. Or maybe it was Norma’s badass arms. Seriously though, I’m talking Madonna arms and Jessica Simpson legs…this girl has it going on!
And after spending time documenting these two and their friends and family on their wedding day it was apparent that Norma and Taylor were made for each other and will endure whatever challenges life throws at them. They said their vows at Taylor’s family estate in Nicasio under the majestic redwood trees surrounded by lush forest and the love and support necessary to go the distance. It was Norma and Taylor’s dream of a fancy BBQ wedding come true with a super cool laid back vibe that was amplified only by their own spirits. It was a day with donuts instead of cake, the coolest underground DJ spinning the dance floor into a frenzy, and most of all love. Love that waits and is rewarded, ten times over.
I’d also like to give a special shout out to Annie Hall for coming to shoot with us. Annie, you were a real treat to work with and your images were a perfect compliment to Norma and Taylor’s wedding story.
Wow, great documentary wedding style! Love the shots in the woods and how you used light and contrast. Wonderful work and beautiful couple on their wedding day!

I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m in the wrong country for wedding photography 🙂 Absolutely incredible backdrop, and you’ve totally made the most of it! From end-2-end, you’ve documented this wedding with passion and detail… oh and that veil shot is basically next level 🙂 Bravo Teresa x
These are absolutely stunning, Teresa. A huge level of skill- especially in the lighting that you made look deceptively simple. GORGEOUS.
Incredible! So much love and emotion.
