Jennifer and Jason’s July wedding at the Vizcaya in Sacramento was everything I envisioned it to be after getting to know them both. It was simple, refined and elegant. It was very intimate affair and exactly the atmosphere that Jennifer and Jason had planned for it to be.
Of course no wedding goes 100% according to plan. But, we all know that’s what makes the day even more special and memorable. And as you may remember from their engagement session (you can see that post here), these two are a couple of hotties. So of course on their wedding day it was hot. But it is July in Sacramento, so we do get the occasional 100+ degree days…it is what it is.
And, now I can now say that the record for shortest ceremony ever (previously set by Candice and Chris) was officially beaten by Jennifer and Jason who came in with a 12 minute ceremony. Yes, it was THAT hot outside. The good news was that the grounds and garden at the Vizcaya made it all worthwhile! And of course you know that my lovely bride and groom truly “glowed” on their wedding day.
And seriously, what a couple of dolls these two are. They are living proofing that online dating works (check out their adorable mouse pad wedding favors) and that love can thrive even over long distances.
I am so grateful and honored to have had the privilege of capturing their love story amongst a truly warm and gracious family. Long live love!
