Grand Island Mansion Wedding | Tina and Joe

Tina and Joe are two of the most amazing people I have had the pleasure of working with! These two are such fun and loving folks that never fail to make my day brighter. I was so excited to attend their wedding and capture such sweet moments for them. As a wedding photographer, I am always interested in expanding my knowledge of different cultures and experiences. I was so excited for this wedding not only because Tina and Joe are so dear to my heart, but also because their wedding was a very traditional Greek Orthodox union. In my opinion, there is nothing more beautiful than getting married to the love of your life in such a spiritual way. This wedding was definitely unique, as many guests traveled all the way from Egypt where Tina and Joe are from. Not to mention, the ceremony was breath taking with its awe-inspiring beauty.

The first time I met Tina and Joe was at their engagement session. They had a blended family, but not in the traditional way. Once they decided to tie the knot, their fur babies had to learn to live together as step-siblings, ha! It was adorable. I had such a wonderful time with these two, and I was so thrilled to work with them again.

When I first arrived at their venue, I was pleasantly surprised by the many traditions held by the Greek Orthodox union. The ceremony was gorgeous, and included crowns and robes that the bride and groom wore. The priest/bishop prayed over their heads, and Tina and Joe listened to the Bishop as he read the Gospel Deacons Bible passages. The wedding was a very holy experience, which was so important for Tina and Joe.

A reception followed the ceremony, and it was a super fun time for everyone! The guests enjoyed delicious food and dancing. The bride and groom appeared to be having a blast, smiling and laughing the entire time. It was so much fun! Congratulations, Tina and Joe! You two deserve all the happiness in the world!
