I’d like to introduce a very special couple to you: Meghan and Glenn. Without going too far into their backstory (stay tuned in an upcoming wedding post), just know that they are so very special to me. I have crazy, mad love for these two and was so excited for the chance to take their engagement photos.
I wanted to capture the essence of who they are as a couple. Engagement sessions are some of my favorite to capture because getting engaged is the very first step into the awesome, wild ride of marriage. Engagement photos give the couple (and their friends and family) a defined starting point to look back on so they can see and remember what they looked like when it all began. It’s always kind of interesting to look back when you get several years out.
So, to document that magic time for Glenn and Meghan, we headed out to a High Hill Ranch in Camino, CA called Apple Hill. The sprawling farm has an orchard, vineyard, and even Christmas trees (as you can imagine, a photographer’s dream spot!) and is less crowded during the week! Meghan and Glenn could just mosey through the rows and talk about the adventures they have planned for the future. The property is amazing, and we found a secluded pond with walking trails for some more intimate shots. The autumn glow at sunset and trees on the brink of change made it dreamlike. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening.
