From the very first few emails that Kelly wrote to me, I knew she was a total and complete sweetheart. Her warmth and kindness radiated through her words on my screen. And when I finally got to meet her and Mike in person, I knew right away that all of my assumptions were true!
We planned this engagement session around things that felt like home. Mike and Kelly both live in East Sac; and, it was the place where their love for each other blossomed into what it is today. So, it made perfect sense for us to shoot in McKinley Park and around the State Capitol Park.
For anyone who might be a little camera shy (like a certain groom to be in these photographs) having an engagement session before your wedding goes a long way in helping you feel relaxed and comfortable come picture time on your wedding day. And let me tell you, Mike was in full model mode by the end of the shoot. As for Kelly, well just take a look and see…I think this girl was MADE to be in front of a camera. And standing next to the guy of your dreams makes everything 100 times more awesome!!
