Sierra Foothills Wedding at the Heirloom Inn | Ione, California | Rashele and Troy

Nice guys always finish last…that’s how the old saying goes right? Well I’m here to tell you that that sentiment is dead wrong; and, I have proof. Rashele, the blonde beauty with the blazing blue eyes always seemed to be falling for the wrong guys, the typical “bad boys” that some girls just find themselves always drawn to. So when Troy entered her life, her initial reaction was…he’s just too nice. Seriously, what is wrong with us girls sometimes? But Troy, he knew Rashele was the one and he wasn’t about to give up on her. And so a friendship formed, and bloomed into a beautiful relationship. One deeply rooted in trust, love, and respect for one another. You see these two were meant to be, and although it took Rashele a minute or two to figure it out, once she knew, she KNEW.

Rashele and Troy tied the knot in Ione at the Heirloom Inn. It’s a beautiful, lush venue set in the heart of the mother lode area of Northern California. I was seriously impressed with the owner, the DJ, the officiant, the caterer (yum) and all the vendors I had the privilege to work with at this wedding. This is a venue I hope to come back to in the future…it just feels like home. And the touches that Rashele put into the wedding were perfect. Her inspiration was the Peacock and you could see those beautiful feathers everywhere! It was the perfect atmosphere for celebrating family, friends, unity and most of all love.

  1. Wow, what a beautiful set of photos, all the elements were captured so well. The lights, the atmosphere, the beautiful couple. Pretty pretty pretty…. 🙂

  2. I love her dress! So nice to see something different, and I love this view on their wedding day. A lovely and emotional ceremony!
